Zerona FAQ

How it works

The treatment involves applying a laser slimming device for collection of fat on the arms, abdomen, hips, and thighs. These lasers cause the fat cells to shrink, resulting in noticeable weight loss. In fact, as a testament to the efficiency of the Zerona treatment program, the experienced physicians at Premium Clinic guarantee a minimum circumferential reduction of 3.5 inches in the abdomen, hips, and thighs.

While the cost of Zerona varies according to the amount of fat that the patient would like to remove, in general, an one-month unlimited treatment program starts at $1,999.

How does Zerona work?

As a Zerona treatment is completely painless, there is no topical or local anesthesia involved in the procedure. During the treatment, the Zerona lasers circle over the mid-section of the body. The lasers painlessly penetrate the skin, shrinking the fat cells. By the end of the one-month treatment, millions of superficial fat cells will shrink, resulting in noticeable fat reduction and significant body contour improvements. Prior to your procedure, the Premium Clinic’s team will review your medications and medical history. Based on the scope of the treatment, Premium Clinic doctors may recommend that you stop taking certain medications before the procedure. It is also recommended that you consume a healthy diet and drink plenty of liquids before your treatment.

Is it the right treatment for me?

Fundamentally, good candidates are patients who would like to remove unwanted fat without undergoing the invasiveness of a traditional liposuction procedure. However, please note that the treatment is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant or who have a pacemaker. In addition, the treatment should be avoided in areas where there are cancers, lesions, or infections.

Is it safe?

Due to its minimally invasive approach, a Zerona treatment is considered safe. After the procedure, patients can expect a bit of discomfort, tenderness, and swelling in the targeted areas. However, these sensations should subside the following day.

How long is the recovery time?

Unlike a traditional liposuction procedure, a Zerona treatment boasts a recovery process that is practically non-existent. In fact, it is not uncommon for patients who undergo Zerona to return to work immediately after the treatment.

How long will the results last?

To achieve the best results, doctors recommend undergoing 3 treatments per week over the course of one month. Following this period, patients generally notice that their weight has decreased by at least one size.
